Dershowitz: Today’s Anti-Israel Protesters Are Modern Nazis

Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz has raised eyebrows by labeling anti-Israel protesters the "Nazis of our age," a poignant remark amid the escalating conflict in the Middle East.

In a recent appearance on "Just the News, No Noise," Dershowitz condemned the support these protesters have received from figures in the Biden administration while affirming their right to free speech.

However, he firmly believes that such endorsement from the President and his allies is both inappropriate and harmful.

"The Democratic administration is putting its imprimatur behind these protesters," he stated, pointing out that praise for such groups would never be acceptable if directed at the Ku Klux Klan or similar organizations.

Dershowitz's strong stance reflects a growing discontent among moderate and conservative voices who see the increasing leftward tilt of the Democratic Party as a troubling precedent.

His concerns were echoed by Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who is perceived as softening his stance on the pro-Palestinian movement after stating that some of the protesters’ points were valid.

Critics have rightly questioned how a leader can equate harmful rhetoric against Israel with legitimate calls for humanitarian intervention.

"We’re at a critical point right now," Walz commented, as calls for a two-state solution ring hollow to those who prioritize Israel’s right to defend itself against terrorism.

Dershowitz, who recently transitioned away from the Democratic Party due to what he describes as its 'woke' attitudes, emphasizes that such a departure is indicative of a larger issue.

By stating, "I'm not a Republican. I'm an independent," he underscores the alarming transformation of the Democratic Party, suggesting that it has become increasingly antagonistic toward a key ally of the United States.

Finally, with prominent figures like Hillary Clinton appearing thrilled at the possible ascension of Kamala Harris following Joe Biden's exit from the race, it is crucial to evaluate how this evolving landscape affects U.S.-Israel relations going forward.

As the debates over free speech and pro-Israel sentiments continue to unfold, conservative voices remain steadfast in standing up for a steadfast ally and denouncing any attempts to normalize anti-Semitism under the guise of protest.
