Under Biden's watch, the Department of Homeland Security disclosed a concerning surge in the backlog of tracking and vetting illegal aliens in the U.S., surpassing six million. Additionally, the apprehension of suspected terrorists and violent offenders has witnessed a significant spike.

Cruz remained resolute in his stance, affirming that a Republican-controlled White House, Senate, and House in the upcoming year would lead to a secured border.
