**Disappointment for Democrats: New Study Reveals Kamala Harris Would Have Lost Even with Higher Voter Turnout**

A recent analysis by Pew Research has delivered a strong blow to the Democratic narrative that low voter turnout hindered Kamala Harris in the presidential race.

According to the study, even if all eligible voters had turned out, Harris would have faced an even harsher defeat against Donald Trump.

While some Democrats claimed that millions of stay-at-home voters could have swayed the election, the data shows a different reality.

When nonvoters were asked how they would have voted, 44% leaned towards Trump, while only 40% favored Harris.

This research undermines the long-held Democratic belief that higher voter turnout benefits their party.

Instead, it indicates a significant shift among disengaged voters, who are increasingly leaning right or opting out of the electoral process altogether.

Notably, this study reveals that the demographic trends observed in the 2024 election may signal a realignment away from traditional Democratic strongholds.

Participation in the 2024 election hit 64%, the second-highest rate since 1960, yet nearly one in four eligible adults still didn’t cast a ballot in recent national contests.

Interestingly, the cohort of nonvoters skews younger and less educated, further complicating the Democratic narrative.

Moreover, Trump broke new ground by capturing 40% of the Asian vote, 48% of Hispanic voters, and 15% of the Black vote, solidifying a multi-ethnic coalition that challenges the Democratic claim to diversity.

Among men under 50, Trump managed to outperform Harris, reflecting a considerable change from the previous election cycle.

Importantly, 89% of Trump’s 2020 voters returned to the polls, compared to only 85% of Biden's voters.

As for those who participated in 2024 but did not vote in 2020, a striking 54% opted for Trump, while only 42% chose Harris.

Within the Democratic Party, loyalty appears to be waning; barely 70% of registered Democrats who stayed home expressed support for Harris.

This study offers a clear message: the GOP is expanding its appeal, while Democrats face significant challenges in retaining their base.

As America heads further into the 2024 election cycle, these findings may serve as a wake-up call for those in the Democratic establishment clinging to outdated assumptions about voter engagement.
