**Trump Takes Bold Steps to Secure American Airspace Against Terrorism**

In a critical move to bolster national security, President Donald Trump has signed three executive orders aimed at safeguarding American airspace from potential terrorist threats.

The initiatives, titled “Unleashing American Drone Dominance,” “Restoring American Airspace Sovereignty,” and “Leading the World in Supersonic Flight,” underscore the administration’s commitment to protecting U.S. sovereignty while promoting innovation in the aerospace sector.

Michael Kratsios, director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, emphasized that the primary message of these orders is clear: "American innovation belongs in American aerospace."

As drones gain prominence in various sectors ranging from agriculture to public safety, the first order of business is to expand commercial drone operations and secure supply chains. The Trump administration intends to diminish reliance on foreign manufacturers, particularly those deemed hostile.

Kratsios pointed out that excessive red tape has stifled homegrown drone innovation for too long. "Under President Trump’s leadership, we are securing our borders for national security threats, including in the air, especially with major public events like the Olympics approaching," he stated.

This comprehensive approach not only ensures the effectiveness of drones but also prioritizes American-made technology in federal procurement, thus stimulating domestic job growth and manufacturing.

Sebastian Gorka, deputy assistant to the president, elaborated that these measures are driven by an urgent need for national security. The president's decisive actions aim to protect citizens from “evildoers and idiots, the clueless and the careless” who misuse drone technology.

The second order, “Restoring American Airspace Sovereignty,” establishes a federal task force dedicated to modernizing drone regulations. This task force will work collaboratively with the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security to integrate counter-drone efforts into Joint Terrorism Task Forces.

New rules will also expedite regulations against drone flights over sensitive areas, thereby enhancing the safety of large-scale public events.

Finally, the “Leading the World in Supersonic Flight” order signifies a push to reestablish the U.S. as a leader in aviation technology by dismantling outdated regulations that have hindered commercial supersonic travel for decades. Kratsios pointed out that Americans should have the ability to fly from coast to coast in less than four hours.

The Trump administration's proactive stance on these issues has been met with support from various sectors, reflecting the urgency of national security in an era where aerial threats are increasingly complex.

As the 47th President of the United States continues to implement policies focused on American innovation and sovereignty, these executive orders represent a significant stride toward ensuring that the United States remains a formidable presence in global aerospace technology.
