Republican lawmakers, led by Senators like Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) and Representatives such as Michael Cloud (R-Texas), are championing the "Return to Sender Act" to reclaim taxpayer dollars wasted on unnecessary electric vehicle purchases.

Moreover, essential reforms should include the proposal to reduce mail delivery from six days to five.

According to USPS's own 2013 business plan, this simple adjustment could save an estimated $2.6 billion per year.

While reducing operations might sound drastic, it reflects a rational approach to restore fiscal solvency.
