**Terrorism Targeting Pro-Life Centers Escalates Amidst Political Backlash**
In a shocking escalation of violence against pro-life organizations, CompassCare, a New York-based pregnancy center, has reported new threats from extremists linked to Antifa.
The threats came just days after the center was firebombed by a group called Jane’s Revenge, a radical faction associated with Antifa, following the Supreme Court's decision overturning Roe v. Wade.
CompassCare was notified by federal law enforcement that it is under targeted surveillance by unknown assailants intent on shutting down the center's operations.
The previous attack not only destroyed infrastructure but also raised alarms about the increased danger faced by pro-life entities across the country.
Rev. Jim Harden, CEO of CompassCare, stated, "This latest attack aligns with multi-national Marxist Antifa threats aimed specifically at undermining our mission of providing ethical alternatives to abortion."
Despite the setbacks, CompassCare remains steadfast in its commitment to support women seeking alternatives to abortion.
Harden emphasized the importance of their role, stating, “Women consider abortion because they feel trapped and alone. Providing women with an ethical medical alternative to abortion is needed now more than ever.”
In addition to facing violent threats, CompassCare is also contending with legislative pressures from Governor Kathy Hochul and Attorney General Letitia James, who are pursuing aggressive policies that many view as hostile to pro-life advocates.
The state’s Empire State Freedom Initiative, which seeks to monitor potential threats to abortion rights, has been likened to totalitarian measures aimed at stifling dissent.
With New York becoming a hub for abortion services, increasing over 90% within two years, CompassCare is forging ahead by expanding its operations into some of the state's largest abortion centers, including Brooklyn and The Bronx.
Harden fiercely defended their work, stating, “We are prepared to fight whatever battles we must for the right and privilege to fight for moms and their babies. Women deserve better than abortion.”
As CompassCare continues its fight against these threats, the wider implications of such political maneuvers raise critical questions about free speech, the safety of those involved in the pro-life movement, and the ongoing battle for women's rights in their communities.
