**Outrageous**

The Biden administration's failure to prosecute any of the 436 attacks on churches and religious institutions last year has sparked considerable outrage among conservatives.

This shocking inaction was highlighted during a recent House Judiciary hearing, where lawmakers pointed out that while assaults on houses of worship skyrocketed, not a single case was pursued by the Department of Justice (DOJ) under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act.

Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas), the subcommittee chairman, underscored the disparity in the administration's enforcement of the law, revealing that a staggering 92% of all FACE Act cases involved pro-life advocates rather than the perpetrators of violence against churches.

“Since the start of the Biden administration until May of this year, the DOJ brought just 24 prosecutions under the FACE Act against 55 defendants, with only two cases related to attacks on pregnancy resource centers,” Roy stated.

In stark contrast, a report from the Family Research Council identified 436 attacks on churches, emphasizing the alarming 800% increase over recent years.

Erin Hawley, vice president of the Alliance Defending Freedom, testified about the violent and often violent attacks directed at churches, detailing incidents of vandalism, arson, and even bomb threats.

“The FACE Act has never once been used to protect churches from violence,” Hawley lamented, urging a reassessment of how the law is applied in light of such growing hostility toward religious institutions.

Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-Wyo.) echoed these sentiments, stating, “Those who hate wisdom love death,” indicating a troubling cultural shift that ignores the sanctity of places of worship.

The hearing also noted that attacks on pro-life organizations have become increasingly prevalent, with pregnancy resource centers facing a disproportionate amount of violence against them.

The Biden administration has faced criticism for allegedly weaponizing the law to target pro-life advocates instead of addressing the escalating violence against religious communities.

Conservatives are calling for change, with proposals like the FACE Act Repeal Act gaining traction among House Republicans.

They argue that the law, as it currently stands, has become an instrument of oppression against those who simply wish to express their beliefs freely.

Amidst this political climate, President-elect Donald Trump pledged to address this injustice, promising to restore fairness and impartiality at the DOJ should he return to office.

“Never again will the federal government be used to target religious believers," he stated, capturing the frustration many Americans feel about the apparent bias in law enforcement.

As the country grapples with the implications of these findings, the call for appropriate action to protect religious freedoms has never been more pressing.
