**Fraud on the Border: Biden Administration's Immigration Program in Jeopardy**
The Biden administration is facing severe criticism for an immigration program riddled with fraud.
At a recent U.S. House Judiciary subcommittee hearing, Representative Andy Biggs (R-Arizona) unleashed a barrage of evidence on the rampant abuse of the CHNV parole program, which was established for inadmissible aliens from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela.
Under the oversight of DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, the program has come under scrutiny for allowing illegal border crossers to sponsor others crossing the border illegally.
Biggs pointed out that this is not just a bureaucratic failure but an outright violation of U.S. immigration laws.
"Illegal border crossers are sponsoring other illegal border crossers, and that's a problem," Biggs stated, underscoring the absurdity of the situation.
He highlighted that individuals approved as sponsors frequently used fake Social Security numbers and shared the same physical addresses on thousands of applications, indicating systemic fraud within this immigration scheme.
The statistics are staggering.
As of August 2023, the DHS had approved over 80,000 CHNV supporters who were in the U.S. illegally. Moreover, the program, hailed by the administration as a breakthrough in handling migration, has instead become a conduit for further chaos at the border.
Biggs went on to cite multiple instances where the same Social Security number was used for thousands of applications, revealing deep cracks in the system's vetting process.
"When you have more than 1,800 applications using the same 184-word response, that raises red flags," he remarked.
Not only is this a failing of federal oversight, but it also poses security risks, particularly as thousands of inadmissible aliens await entry through potentially unsafe avenues.
The evidence collected from various investigations has prompted calls for actions against Mayorkas, with some Republicans considering impeachment due to his alleged mishandling of the immigration crisis.
As over three million illegal border crossings have been reported from CHNV countries alone, it’s clear that the Biden administration’s approach to immigration is not working and may potentially endanger the safety of American citizens.
With an alarming rate of violent crimes linked back to these illegal entries, the American public deserves a safer border and a more accountable immigration process.
Republicans are demanding immediate reforms to restore integrity to our immigration system and protect our communities from the threats posed by uncontrolled illegal immigration.
As these discussions continue, one thing remains clear: the current administration's policies have opened the floodgates for fraud and disorder, failing both legal immigrants and American citizens alike.
