**Crisis at the Border: Harris' Policies Prompt Exodus Among Border Patrol Agents**

A looming crisis threatens to deepen as Border Patrol agents prepare to leave the agency if Vice President Kamala Harris wins the presidency in the upcoming election.

With her track record as "border czar" during the Biden administration still fresh in the minds of agents, the sentiment of frustration is palpable among law enforcement personnel tasked with maintaining border security.

One border agent candidly expressed, "I'm not doing this sh*t again. Four more years of hell." This sentiment encapsulates the mounting discontent among agents who have endured the fallout from the current administration's approach to immigration.

Reports of a significant exodus from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency since 2020 are alarming. Nearly a quarter of the agency's workforce has departed, with 4,281 agents leaving due to a combination of retirements, resignations, and early retirements.

Another Border Patrol agent warned, "Lots of guys who can retire will go. If Trump wins, they’ll stay." This highlights a potential safety net offered by the Trump administration's more stringent immigration policies, which many agents believe could restore stability and support for their critical work.

Under the Biden-Harris leadership, encounters with illegal immigrants have skyrocketed to over ten million. Many agents feel that inefficiencies and lack of support have made their roles increasingly untenable. One agent voiced the frustration many feel, stating, "They can't outwardly tell us not to do our job, but when you're watching criminals come in and get released, it sucks."

Rising suicide rates among Customs and Border Protection agents underscore the severe pressures placed upon them in this challenging climate. In 2022, the agency saw 15 suicides among its agents, prompting them to bring in a suicidologist in a bid to address the mental health crisis inflating under the current regime.

As the election approaches, the dissatisfaction among Border Patrol agents serves as a stark reminder of the critical issues voters must consider.

The future of America's border security hangs in the balance, with many agents staring down a choice between a potential new administration that may continue the same policies or a return to a Trump-led administration that promises to prioritize security, law enforcement, and border integrity.
