Former First Lady Melania Trump has raised serious concerns regarding the leadership of the U.S. Secret Service, particularly in light of the agency’s recent failings to protect her husband, Donald Trump.

In a candid interview with Maria Bartiromo on "Sunday Morning Futures," Melania expressed her apprehensions, stating, “I have a great team and my detail around me and my husband as well. I think there is something going on at the top level.”

Her remarks come after a troubling summer during which the former president faced an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Following the incident, former Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle resigned amidst scrutiny regarding the agency's performance.

Melania emphasized the necessity for accountability and transparency within the agency, underscoring that “it’s hard to say that you trust right, who you really trust. You want to but it’s always a question mark.”

She highlighted that something felt off, referencing the agency's inability to detect the shooter positioned on a rooftop prior to the shots being fired.

Melania called into question the motivations of higher-ups within the Secret Service and voiced a desire for clarification about what truly transpired that day.

Despite her concerns, Melania remains steadfast in supporting her husband’s return to Butler for a rally, stating, “I support him. He is a fighter. He will never stop!”

She praised Donald’s resilience, asserting his commitment to continue fighting to make America great again, regardless of the threats they face.

Melania's comments resonate with many who believe that the former president’s safety should be a paramount concern and that the failures of the Secret Service demand thorough investigation and reform.

As the political landscape continues to grow increasingly hostile toward prominent conservative figures, the need for robust protections has never been clearer.
