Kamala Harris: The Ineptitude Behind Border Crisis Management

**Incompetence** is perhaps the most fitting description for Vice President Kamala Harris's tenure as "border czar."

Despite being tasked with managing a catastrophic immigration crisis, Harris has deflected responsibility and misattributed the problem to climate change rather than confronting the alarming rise in illegal crossings and associated risks, including terrorism.

In May 2021, she suggested that a lack of “climate adaptation” was a significant factor driving mass migration to the United States.

Her administration has overseen over 6.7 million encounters with illegal migrants at the southern border since President Joe Biden took office.

This increase starkly contrasts with the Trump era, when border enforcement policies led to a dramatic decline in crossing attempts, resulting in virtually zero apprehensions of known terrorists.

Recently revealed data indicates that the Biden administration has witnessed a staggering 2,500% surge in suspected terrorists crossing into the U.S. from the southern border.

Harris's dismissive comments about the need for a border wall, which she labeled a “vanity project,” resonate painfully in light of current events.

Reports now show that Tajik nationals with potential ties to ISIS crossed into the United States through the very border she was assigned to secure.

Notably, an illegal migrant from Afghanistan was discovered nearly a year after slipping through the system, raising serious questions about federal oversight and security.

As the crisis escalates, it’s evident that the Biden administration's refusal to embrace effective policies has left the nation vulnerable.

The recent decision by Wikipedia to scrub all references to Harris as "border czar" speaks volumes about a desperate attempt by Democrats to erase the realities of her failed leadership.

As Harris seems poised to take the reins of the Democratic Party following Biden’s exit from the 2024 presidential race, the question remains: Can America trust a candidate who has consistently misrepresented the challenges at hand?

With the 2024 election approaching, voters should carefully consider their options in a political landscape where security and pragmatism must take precedence over misguided ideology.
