Detroit Pastor Lorenzo Sewell Delivers Powerful Message at RNC

In a powerful display of faith and unity, Pastor Lorenzo Sewell of 180 Church in Detroit, Michigan, delivered a moving speech at the Republican National Convention on Thursday night. Sewell, who hosted a community roundtable with former President and GOP nominee Donald Trump in June, spoke about the "Miracle by a Millimeter" that saved Trump's life.

Sewell, who was born and raised on the east side of Detroit, shared his own personal journey of transformation after a radical experience with Jesus Christ. He then challenged the audience to consider the power of prayer and the sovereignty of God in Trump's life.

"Before I take my seat, I just gotta talk to you about something called Providence and something called Sovereignty," Sewell said. "God's Sovereignty is his ability to do what he wants, when he wants, because He's God. And God's Providence, it's when he does what he wants, when he wants, for all of you."

Sewell then revealed that Trump was shot at 6:11, the same time referenced in Ephesians 6:11, which calls for believers to be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. He challenged Democrats and those on the fence to consider the power of God in Trump's life and the miracle that saved him.

"Could it be that Jesus Christ preserved him for such a time as this?" Sewell asked. "Could it be that when we prayed for him when he came to the roundtable in Detroit, that Jesus asked, and he received, that we sought him, and then he found protection?"

Sewell's message was a powerful reminder of the importance of faith and prayer in our lives, and a call to unity and support for Trump as he seeks to make America great again. The audience erupted in applause and praise, and Sewell left the stage to a standing ovation.

This powerful message from Pastor Sewell comes at a time when the country is deeply divided, and many are questioning the role of faith in politics. But as Sewell reminded us, God's sovereignty and providence are at work in our lives, and we must trust in His plan for our nation.

As we approach the November election, let us remember the power of prayer and the importance of unity. Let us come together as a nation and support leaders who share our values and beliefs. And let us trust in God's plan for our country, knowing that He is in control.
