Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene questions how would-be Trump assassin managed to evade capture despite numerous warning signs.

In an exclusive interview with Human Events Daily, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene expressed her frustration over the lack of cooperation from Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and the Secret Service Director in the investigation of the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.

Greene, who serves on the Oversight and Homeland Committees, revealed that she and her colleagues on oversight have been struggling to get answers to many unanswered and pressing questions.

"Homeland, we want to hear from Secretary Mayorkas. Oversight, we want to talk to the Secret Service Director," she told Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec.

Greene also announced that the House would be having a call with the FBI to ask how a 20-year-old with no military experience or law enforcement background could get into a Trump rally with a range finder and take a direct shot at the former president.

"It's pretty hard to understand that a 20-year-old with no military experience, no law enforcement background, could get into a Trump rally with a range finder ... was able to get up on the right building — how did he know the building to get up on? — take a direct shot at President Trump ... How is he able to do that by himself?" she asked.

Posobiec also touched on how the narrative of the events of the assassination attempt has been changing rapidly. Greene pointed out that while the government was able to obtain everyone's phone records who was in the vicinity of the Capitol on January 6, they somehow can't get the phone records of the 20-year-old suspect.

Greene expressed her frustration with the slow pace of the investigation and the lack of cooperation from government officials.

"I'm frustrated serving on the Oversight Committee and Homeland, where I'm actually relying on news sources giving out a lot of information, but yet we're being slow walked on our committees, or at least that's what it feels like," she said.

Greene also criticized the demonization of Donald Trump by Democrats and the media, who have called him a Nazi and Hitler.

The attempted assassination of Donald Trump has raised serious questions about the security measures in place to protect the former president and the need for a thorough investigation into the incident. The lack of cooperation from government officials and the slow pace of the investigation have only added to the frustration of those seeking answers.
