White House Panic: Biden Team Reacts to Trump's VP Pick

The White House is reportedly in panic mode following former President Donald Trump's selection of Sen. J. D. Vance of Ohio as his running mate on the Republican ticket. President Joe Biden's team reacted almost immediately to the announcement, with Biden's X account claiming that Vance and Trump "want to raise taxes on middle-class families while pushing more tax cuts for the rich." However, this line of attack is laughable given the current economic struggles faced by many Americans under Biden's watch.

Vice President Kamala Harris also weighed in on the matter, claiming that Vance "supports a nationwide abortion ban and voted to block protections for IVF." However, these positions are not surprising given Vance's Catholic faith. The hyperbolic anti-Vance screeching from Democrats and their media allies highlights just how panicked they are about the GOP vice presidential candidate.

Meanwhile, Never Trumper and former Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney (R) has expressed her disapproval of Vance, claiming that he "pledged he would do what Mike Pence wouldn't – overturn an election and illegally seize power." However, her comments have been met with criticism from conservatives who view her as a RINO (Republican in name only).

Despite the criticism, Vance remains a strong choice for the Republican ticket. As a working-class, 39-year-old Iraq veteran, he represents the long-term entrenchment of the New Right within the Republican Party. With Vance as vice president and heir to the GOP throne, a conservative agenda focused on strengthening working-class families, middle-class communities, and an American economy that works for all stakeholders would become permanently enshrined.

The selection of Vance as Trump's running mate has clearly struck fear in the Biden White House and the Democratic Party. As the 2024 election approaches, it remains to be seen how this power duo will fare against their opponents.
