Democrats Consider Replacing Biden with Harris Amid Concerns Over His Health and Performance

The president reportedly had a brief medical check-up after last week's debate, which came just hours after White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre insisted that Biden had not seen a doctor since the debate. Jean-Pierre also denied that the president has any form of degenerative brain disease.
Despite these concerns, Biden has insisted that he is in good health and is determined to defeat Trump in the upcoming election. He has also sought the advice and expertise of Democratic governors, and has pledged that "no one's pushing me out."
However, CNN commentator Van Jones has said that behind closed doors, Democrats are discussing "how" to replace Biden at the top of the ticket, "not whether." He added that there is a "full-scale panic" within the party, with people passing around legal memos and PDFs trying to figure out how to replace Biden in a way that respects him.
This comes as polling tips in favor of Biden's criminally convicted and twice-impeached Republican rival, Donald Trump. At least three sitting Democratic members of Congress have publicly called on Biden to drop out of the race for the White House.
