Nearly half of Americans believe corporate diversity programs discriminate against white men, according to a recent Rasmussen Reports poll. The poll found that 48 percent of Americans believe that corporate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs are being used as an excuse to discriminate against white men. This belief is held by 54 percent of those who are very familiar with DEI programs, and by 60 percent of those who believe it is very likely that some companies are using DEI as an excuse to discriminate against white men.

The poll also found that 38 percent of Americans believe that DEI programs make corporations worse, while only 29 percent believe they make companies better. This sentiment is strongest among Republicans, with 58 percent believing that DEI programs make corporations worse. In contrast, 51 percent of Democrats believe that DEI programs make corporations better.

The poll results come as corporations increasingly push leftist goals through DEI programs, such as racial justice, affirmative action, and climate change policies. However, it appears that many Americans are becoming increasingly skeptical of these programs and their intentions.

One recent example of this skepticism is the backlash that Tractor Supply faced over its DEI policies. The company faced a backlash from consumers and ultimately decided to eliminate DEI roles, retire DEI goals, and refocus its priorities toward agriculture education, animal welfare, veteran causes, and others. The company also stopped sponsoring pride festivals and voting campaigns.

The poll results also highlight the growing divide between Republicans and Democrats on issues related to diversity and inclusion. While Democrats are more likely to support DEI programs, Republicans are more likely to view them as discriminatory and harmful to corporations.

As corporations continue to push leftist goals through DEI programs, it remains to be seen how this will impact their bottom line and public perception. However, it is clear that many Americans are becoming increasingly skeptical of these programs and their intentions.
