**Sanctuary Cities Under Fire: Trump's Border Czar Vows to Enforce Immigration Laws**

With the Biden administration's lenient border policies facing backlash, incoming Trump border czar Tom Homan is sending a definitive message to sanctuary cities: comply with federal immigration law or face the consequences.

In a recent interview, Homan, who previously served as the acting director of ICE, emphasized the importance of cooperation between local law enforcement and federal immigration authorities to ensure public safety.

He stated, “If you let us in the jail, we can arrest the bad guy in the jail and in the safety and security of the jail.”

According to Homan, cities that obstruct federal immigration enforcement only jeopardize their own communities, making them less safe.

His remarks come at a time when several blue cities are actively trying to resist the incoming administration's plans for stricter immigration enforcement.

Homan pointed out that as cities like San Diego and Colorado enact measures to protect illegal immigrants, they inadvertently shield dangerous individuals from deportation.

“When you release a public safety threat back into the community, you put the community at risk. You put my officers at risk. You put the alien at risk,” he warned.

Homan made it clear that the Trump administration will not shy away from enforcing immigration laws, stating, “We're going to do it with them or without them. We're going to get this done.”

As cities like Boston and Denver fight against Trump's initiatives, New York City Mayor Eric Adams is taking a more pragmatic approach. He has agreed to meet with Homan to discuss strategies for enhancing safety in his city.

Homan views this willingness to collaborate as a positive sign, stating that it reflects a commitment to protecting communities.

The former ICE director believes the forthcoming Trump administration will prioritize public safety and hold sanctuary cities accountable for obstructing lawful enforcement.

With all eyes on the new border policy, Homan's clarion call emphasizes the administration's resolve to reassert control over immigration and law enforcement, leaving little room for dissent.

As the GOP prepares to implement significant changes to immigration policy, it remains clear: the era of sanctuary cities defying federal law may soon come to an end.
