A man wanted for a bizarre fish dumping incident at the house from the movie "The Goonies" was rescued by the Coast Guard from a yacht that was capsized by a massive wave at the mouth of the Columbia River. The man, Jericho Labonte, was rescued by a Coast Guard rescue swimmer and was treated for mild hypothermia before being taken to a hospital. Labonte was also wanted in British Columbia for criminal harassment, mischief and failure to comply cases. After being released from the hospital, police recognized Labonte as the man they were looking for in the "Goonies" house incident. Despite the Coast Guard rescue, police were still searching for Labonte as of Friday evening. The mouth of the Columbia River is known for its rough seas, making the rescue a noteworthy event.
