In a shocking incident, a couple was found dead on their porch in Trumbull County, Ohio. The couple, identified as Amber Barry, 35, and her boyfriend, 55-year-old Eddie Parthemer, were found unresponsive by a relative who had checked on the family after being unable to get in touch with them for a couple of days. The relative entered the home through a window and found the couple's 3-year-old son inside, who was shivering and wearing only a diaper. The child was transported to a hospital and is safe with family.

The Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office stated that the evidence from the residence is leading them to believe that the couple's deaths were a possible overdose. The couple's home was in deplorable conditions and had no heat. Autopsies for the two decedents are scheduled for Wednesday. The incident brings back memories of a similar case from Ohio in 2016, when a couple overdosed in their car while their 4-year-old son was in the back seat.
