A female high school student has been arrested and charged with aggravated battery after attacking her teacher in a classroom in Rockdale County, Georgia. A video of the incident shows the student shouting and pushing the teacher before striking her. The teacher suffered leg and knee injuries and is currently hospitalized, unable to walk and requiring extensive rehabilitation and therapy. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support the teacher, who has taught in public education for 27 years. This incident comes after a separate case in which a Heritage High School teacher was fired and arrested for body-slamming a student.
