Andrew Tate, 36, and his brother Tristan, 34, have been ruled as human traffickers by a Romanian court. The two women who had been working for the brothers did not understand that they were being enslaved, as they had been brainwashed, according to a clinical psychologist's report. The brothers, along with two alleged female accomplices, have been arrested on charges of human trafficking, rape, and forming an organized crime group to exploit women.
The victims were reportedly recruited by the brothers through false claims of a relationship or marriage and were then forced to produce pornographic content for social media sites. The suspects will remain in custody until February 27th, and the prosecutors can ask to extend the suspects' detention for up to 180 days.
