Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax (D-VA) on Tuesday took aim at fellow Democrats who he said gave him “no due process” when he was accused of sexual assault by two women. Fairfax then compared his treatment to that of Emmett Till and George Floyd, who both died before any arrests were made.
NBC News reported that Fairfax, appearing at the state’s Democratic gubernatorial debate Tuesday night, responded to a question about police reform and the rush to judgment.

I have a son and a daughter. I don’t ever want my daughter to be assaulted, I don’t want my son to be falsely accused. And yet this is the real world that we live in.”
