Capitol Police Announce Increased Security Following ‘Possible Plot To Breach The Capitol’

U. S. Capitol Police announced Wednesday they would increase security in response to intelligence suggesting a plot to attack the Capitol on March 4.
Capitol Police “obtained intelligence that shows a possible plot to breach the Capitol by an identified militia group on Thursday, March 4,” according to a press release.
The agency says it is taking the intelligence “very seriously” and will establish “physical structure and increasing manpower to ensure the protection of Congress, the public and our police officers.”
